The Red Turtle

The Red Turtle

Presented by Flint Institute of Arts at Flint Institute of Arts

An Academy Award nominee for Best Animated Feature, this is a dialogue-less tale of a young man who meets a giant red turtle after a shipwreck on a deserted island.  The Los Angeles Times calls this French-Belgian release (80 minutes, PG-13) “a visually stunning poetic fable.” It is being presented in the Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts.
