The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents a drama based on the life of the American poet Emily Dickinson from her days as a schoolgirl to later years as a reclusive, unrecognized artist. Cynthia Nixon, Jennifer Ehle, Keith Carradine and Emma Bell head the cast for British director Terence Davies.
