    Artist Detail

    Jim Fournier

    Visual Artist - Writer

    About the artist:

Jim Fournier was born in Michigan and began drawing at the early age of four. A comic book collector in his teens he was influenced by artists such as Dale Keown, Jim Lee, Ron Lim and John Byrne. After graduating from high school, he continued to hone and refine his skills as an artist. Upon picking up his first Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual, he was struck by the rich detail and unique creatures. At that moment Jim realized that fantasy illustration was his career of choice. Now in his thirties, he is happily married to his wonderful wife Wendi and they are blessed with two fascinating and energetic boys. "My family is my inspiration and from whom I draw all of my strength." -- Jim Fournier
