Jim Fournier was born in Michigan and began drawing at the early age of four. A comic book collector in his teens he was influenced by artists such as Dale Keown, Jim Lee, Ron Lim and John Byrne. After graduating from high school, he continued to hone and refine his skills as an artist. After graduating from high school, he continued to hone and refine his skills as an artist.
