United Afrikaan Movement is a non-profit organization whose goal is to bring unity in the community through culture, arts and education. U.A.M has been afforded the opportunity to take on the responsibility of hosting this year’s festival. The purpose of this event is to not only provide the community with something they can look forward to every year, it is also providing the community with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of culture, self-awareness and most importantly unity during such a tumultuous time.
This year’s KOKO Festival will include:
· Vendors displaying their local businesses in the City of Flint
· Bounce houses
· Face painting
· Activities for children to enjoy
· Live entertainment, and more.
