FOMA Film Series and SorensonGross presents the film 1982 and Q&A with director, Oualid Mouaness.

In his debut feature Oualid Mouaness delivers an ode to innocence in which he revisits one of the most cataclysmic moments in Lebanon’s history through the lens of a child and his vibrant imagination. This award-winning film demonstrates the complexities of love and war, and the resilience of the human spirit.

Join us for the screenings of 1982 with director introductions and a Q&A with Oualid Mouaness Sunday afternoon after the final screening.

ADMISSION INFO

Ticket for the films are $7 for non-members, $6 for FIA members and $5 for FOMA members. Tickets are currently available to purchase online and will be available to purchase in-person up to 30 minutes before the screening.

1982 will be shown Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4 at 7:30 pm, and  Sunday, February 5 at 2:00pm with introductions by the director, Oualid Mouaness. We will have a Q&A with the director in the theater following the Sunday screening.

PARKING INFO

Free parking is available on both the North and South entrances of the building. Overflow parking is available using Flint Central High School’s parking lot, adjacent to the South end of the FIA.
