4th Annual Smallidge Lecture

Join us for the 4th Annual Smalligde Lecture. This year’s guest speaker is visual artist and instructor Eddie Watkins. Eddie’s talk, entitled Drawing From Life, will focus on work that has been inspired by the distinctive and spiritual nature of an African American experience and images that emerge from observations, social issues, and working with young artists.

Buckham Gallery will open early at 10:30 and the lecture will begin at 11:00. Coffee and a continental breakfast will be served. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
