African Art Now! Exhibit Opening and Musical Program

“African Art Now!” at MW Gallery opens February 8, with a reception during Flint ARTWALK from 6 to 9 PM. Also, MW Gallery will be hosting a special African musical performance by Biakuye Percussion Group featuring Rob Kratz from 6 to 7 PM.

Join us for music and refreshments during ARTWALK on February 8, 2019 from 6 – 9 PM and check out our new exhibit, “African Art Now!” on view through July 27, 2019.

This month’s ARTWALK will include a special musical performance by Biakuye Percussion Group featuring Rob Kratz, an instructor at the Flint Institute of Music and member of the Flint Symphony Orchestra. During the opening reception of “African Art Now!” MW Gallery will also be featuring a special musical performance by Biakuye Percussion Group featuring Rob Kratz, an instructor at the Flint Institute of Music and member of the Flint Symphony Orchestra. Their musical performance will feature both elements of African drumming and classical music and will take place between 6 and 7 PM.
