The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents a documentary spotlighting the busy 1960s pop music scene in the Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles.
Filled with recollections by the musicians themselves, the film features the Byrds, the Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, the Mamas and the Papas, and many more.
