The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts continues with a serio-comic feature directed by Stanley Tucci.
In 1964, renowned artist Alberto Giacometti (Geoffrey Rush) asks his art writer friend James Lord (Armie Hammer) to sit for a portrait. The process should only take a few days, but the result lasts much longer as we gain insight into the beauty, frustration, profundity and chaos of the creative process.
