Learn how some clever calculations and teamwork led a group of astronomers from Longway Planetarium and searchers from the Farmington Community Stargazers on a hunt to find the Michigan Meteor. This fireball, or bolide, burned up in the skies over Michigan on January 16 and was seen and captured in video over a six-state area. Longway astronomers used footage from their security cameras to triangulate a rough fall location, as well as data from the American Meteor Society and friends at NASA.
