Flint Under the Stars: Family Tradition Band

Family Tradition is a modern take on an old timeless classic sound which includes many traditional country elements such as fiddle, banjo and pedal steel guitar. This combined with spot-on vocal harmonies, dual electric guitars and a rock solid rhythm section, is what creates the authenticity of the band. They are led by the power duo up front featuring Mid-Michigan’s own Randy Badour on Lead Vocals/Acoustic Guitar and Kyle Andrew of Metro Detroit on Lead Guitar & Vocals. These guys continue to prove why they’re one of the Top Recognized Regional Country Acts!

Family Tradition has also recently been named “Best Band” in Detroit by Hour Detroit Magazine (2021) as well as “Best Country Band” by Review Magazine in Mid-Michigan three years in a row (2021, 2022, 2023).

Since 2019 they have opened for Chris Janson, Scotty McCreary, Joe Nichols, The Oak Ridge Boys, Michael Ray, Dylan Scott, Eli Young Band, Frankie Ballard, David Nail, Parker McCollum, Drew Parker, Love & Theft, Trent Tomlinson, Jerrod Niemann, Kameron Marlowe, Priscilla Block, Tyler Booth and Colt Ford. They also perform regularly at many of the popular local fairs and festivals including the Armada Fair, Romeo Peach Fest and more!
