From Mexico to Michigan

From Mexico to Michigan! Join the Genesee County Historical Society at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, as we learn about the rich Mexican heritage of some of our fellow Genesee County citizens!

The first in our new “Immigrants and Migrants of Genesee County Series”!

Join the Genesee County Historical Society at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, as we celebrate Mexican culture with food, history, and story telling. The event will include a cooking demonstration, where you can learn how to make authentic enchiladas! There will also be a short presentation about the immigration history to Michigan and stories from a local, Flint-Mexican family.
