A jaunt through the decades of gospel music, from the slave spirituals to the Golden Era of the 50’s.
Join with McCree Theatre as we take you on a journey through gospel music history, from the slave spirituals of old to the Golden Era of Gospel in the 1950’s. Featuring the music of the Pilgrim Travelers, the Caravans, Dorothy Love Coates and the Gospel Harmonettes, Johnny Taylor, James Cleveland, and Lou Rawls. Tickets range from $5 to $20.
