Kuungana African Drum and Dance Conference and Concert 2021

A festive African Drum and Dance workshop and concert featuring many master dancers and drummers from around the country.

Join us November 12-14 and learn the art of West African drum and dance throughout the weekend with workshops featuring master dancers and drummers from around the country.  See attached workshop schedule and instructors.  All classes will be held at the Flint Development Center (4121 Martin Luther King AVE).  Saturday evening (Nov. 13) we will be presenting the conference concert at 8PM at the New McCree Theatre (4601 Clio Road, Flint, MI  48504).

ADMISSION INFO

Tickets per class are $8 for children 6 and under.  Adults tickets are $15 per class.  Friday, November 12 is Youth Night – 12 and under one price $10.  See attached workshop schedule.
Tickets for the concert on Saturday, November 13 are $10 for children 12 and under.  Adult tickets are $15.  Concert will be held at 8:00PM at the New McCree Theatre.

On Saturday, November 13, the classes end at 6pm.  The concert begins at 8pm and will last approximately two hours.
