Join us at the HIstoric Masonic Temple for a free dance and drum workshop with master teachers from KanKouran West African Dance Company joining us.

Would  you like to learn the art of West African drum or dance or would you just like to brush up on your skills.  Join us on Saturday, June 22, 2019 for a FREE dance and drum workshop.  Joining us is world renowned dancer, Assane Konte, a national of Senegal, West Africa.  He is one of the original founders of KanKouran West African Dance Company of Washington D.C.  He also serves as the company’s Artistic Director, choreographer, and costume designer.  His career as a professional ... view more »
