Kuungana Drum and Dance Conference 2019

A festive African Drum and Dance workshop and concert featuring many master dancers and drummers from all over the world.

Join us during the weekend of November 8-10 and learn the art of West African drum and dance throughout the weekend with workshops featuring master dancers and drummers from around the world.  See attached workshop schedule and instructors.  On Saturday night (Nov. 9) we will be presenting the conference concert at 8PM at the University of Michigan Theatre, 373-599 Kearsley Street, Flint, MI  48502.  The concert features our own Kuungana dancers, Assane Konte from Kankouran West African

Tickets per class are $8 for children 6 and under.  Adults tickets are $15 per class.  Friday, November 8, 2019 is Youth Night – 12 and under one price $10.  See attached workshop schedule

Tickets for the concert on Saturday, Novemer 9, 2019 are $15 for children 12 and under.  Adult tickets are $25.  Concert will be held at 8:00PM at the University of Michigan Theatre, 373-599 Kearsley Street, Flint, Michigan  48502
