The 2017-18 Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents a romantic comedy co-starring Diane Lane and Alec Baldwin. Lane plays the neglected wife of a movie producer who takes a car trip from the south of France to Paris with a charming, roguish Frenchman. The film, in which the scenery and food are strong attractions, was the first feature directed by Eleanor Coppola, wife of famed director Francis Ford Coppola.
