Peter Sinclair on Climate, Energy & Solutions

The Nepessing Group of the Sierra Club is proud to present Peter Sinclair, at Mott Community College’s, Regional Technology Center (RTC) auditorium at 6:00 pm on Wed., May 15.

Mr. Sinclair has brought his rich multi-media presentation to schools, colleges, universities and community groups in Michigan and around the world – including UM- Ann Arbor, the University of Reykjavik and at the American Geophysical Union conferences. [1]

Mr. Sinclair’s presentation will focus on climate changes and energy solutions. He will confront some of the myths around renewable energy and global warming. The threat of global warming to our future, its current progression and issues with energy storage will also be discussed.[2]

Peter Sinclair is a 5th generation Michigander, and a videographer. He produces the video series “This is Not Cool“, for Yale University Climate Connections.[3]

Mr. Sinclair serves as the Media Director for the Dark Snow Project. This ongoing science communication effort focuses on clarifying and communicating the emerging story of melting ice in Greenland, and its impact on global weather and sea level rise. [4]
