The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents a special weekend spotlighting the classic comedy duo of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
The museum will present the new movie “Stan & Ollie,” starring John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan as the aging comedy team, as well as a program of vintage Laurel and Hardy short films, among them the Oscar-winning “The Music Box.” “Stan & Ollie” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 26; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27; and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28. The shorts will be screened at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25; 4 p.m. Saturday, April 27; and 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28.
