The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents the recent worldwide art-house hit comedy-drama about a Chinese family facing a dilemma over one of its senior members.
A grandmother is dying, so her family decides to keep her unaware of her fate and schedules a wedding at which all will gather before her death. Look for this movie to contend for Oscars, especially in the screenplay and acting categories.
