The Hippopotamus

Presented by Flint Institute of Arts at Flint Institute of Arts, Flint MI

Mar 29 - 31 2018
The Hippopotamus

The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents an English comedy of manners set at a country manor.

In a deliciously wicked film based on Stephen Fry’s novel, a disgraced poet is summoned to a country estate to investigate a series of unexplained miracles. Roger Allam, Matthew Modine and Fiona Shaw star in what England’s The Guardian newspaper has called “an old-fashioned romp through the eccentricities of the upper classes.”
