The Friends of Modern Art film series at the Flint Institute of Arts presents an Australian film in which a young female convict pursues a British officer through the Tasmanian wilderness as she seeks to avenge a terrible wrong done to her family.
Set during the colonization of Australia in 1825, this is a meditation on the consequences of violence and the price of seeking vengeance.
