Veterans Of Now 2nd Annual Veterans Motorcade and Ceremony

Come ride and celebrate military veterans from Flint City Hall to Berston Field House to Michigan’s Heroes Museum in Frankenmuth.

The Motorcade line up starts at Flint City Hall at 9am, leaving at 10am heading to Berston Field House for a Ceremony, afterward the Motorcade continues to Michigans Heroes Museum in Frankenmuth where you will see military and astronauts on display connected to Michigan including some from the Flint area.

V.O.N. Veterans Of Now are inviting the Flint and surrounding community to join us for our 2nd Annual Veterans’ Day Motorcade and Celebration scheduled Saturday, November 5, 2022 as we honor military veterans for their sacrifice and service to our country.  The escorted Motorcade line up at Flint City Hall starts @9am, leaves @10am proceeding to Berston Field House where there will be an outside ceremony 10:30am -11:15am that will include a special presentation to honor several selected Military Veteran Hidden Figures in the City of Flint.  Afterwards, the escorted Motorcade will proceed to the Michigan Heroes Museum in Frankenmuth where we will see heroes on display such as military veterans and astronauts connected to Michigan.   Several attached pictures of military displays representing Flint are attached that including the late WWII SSGT Eddie Johnson and his son SGT Wardell Johnson, the late WWII SFC Warren Jackson, SGT Joseph M. Lilly, Medal of Honor Owen F. P. Hammerburg, Chief MSG Duane D. Hackney, Major Thomas Cussans and Astronaut Col. Donald R. McMonagle all of Flint.
