A festive African Drum and Dance workshop and concert featuring many master dancers and drummers from around the country.
This year’s theme is MDUNDO AND MWENDO, RHYTHM AND MOTION. Join us November 10-12 and learn the art of West African drum and dance throughout the weekend with workshops featuring master dancers and drummers from around the country. See attached workshop schedule and instructors. All classes will be held at the Flint Development Center (4121 Martin Luther King AVE). Saturday evening (Nov. 12) we will be presenting the conference concert at 8PM at the Hamady High School Auditorium (3223 W. Carpenter Road, Flint, MI 48504).

Tickets per class are $8 for children 6 and under. Adults tickets are $15 per class. Friday, November 10 is Youth Night – 12 and under one price $10. See attached workshop schedule.
Tickets for the concert on Saturday, November 11 are $10 for children 12 and under. Adult tickets are $15. Concert will be held at 8:00PM at the Hamady High School Auditorium.
