Fenton Community Orchestra and Simply Strings Fall Concert performs standard orchestral repertoire and holiday selections
Maestro Andy Perkins leads the Fenton Community Orchestra through Liszt’s Les Preludes, William Tell Overture by Rossini, The Sorceror’s Apprentice (Dukas), Brahms’ Hungarian Dances 5 & 6, film music from Last of the Mohicans, and Leroy Anderson’s popular A Christmas Festival. Maestra Jane Ball leads Simply Strings in Albinono’s Adagio, Vivaldi’s Concert in C featuring Jensen Stiers on mandolin, The Great Gate of Kyiv (Mussorgsky) and Brazilian Sleigh Bells.
