Galentine's Day

Galentine's Day

Presented by Flint Roller derby at Soggy Bottom Bar

Welcome to the 6th Annual Galentine’s Day donation drive! Join Flint Roller Derby in making the people of our community who are in need know that they are special, loved and important. All ages and genders are welcome!

Featuring Fernando Silverio Solis y El Sueno

This year’s event is being put on by Flint Roller Derby. All items and proceeds will be donated to the YWCA of Flint. We are bringing back a raffle. For every item donated you will receive a raffle ticket. The more items you bring, the more chances you’ll have at winning one of 6 raffle items. Also enjoy having snacks, socializing throughout the day, and making cards at our craft table.

We are also holding a bake sale. Come get yourself some sweet treats, all made by members of your local roller derby team.

After you dropped off your donation, grab a drink (& some of Soggy Bottom’s delicious food) and join us as we make Valentine cards for the shelter. If you can’t stay to socialize that is totally fine. Just dropping off a donation would be so helpful.

What to Bring to Donate:

•Hygiene Products (This includes tampons, pads, and panty liners.)

•Ethnic Hair Care Products

•Laundry Detergent / Dryer sheets (Preferably smaller bottles. No pods please)

•Deodorant

•Shampoo and Conditioner

There will be an additional drop off at the Flint farmer’s market on Feb 4 during the Feb craft market.

All items and proceeds from the bake sale this year will be donated to the YWCA of Flint.
