Recovery-focused gatherings are essential to a healthy community. Flint Recovery Music & Art show is a celebratory event with the intent to bring music and arts to those who are in recovery and their friends and family. According to UNITE to Face Addiction coordinator Greg Williams, 83 million Americans are touched directly or indirectly by addiction. Events like this one are necessary to eradicate the stigma of addiction and recovery and to act as an outreach platform for those who are still suffering from addiction.
This event will be held in Flint at 5411 North Saginaw Street at The Jam Shack of Green Union, a 501(c) 3 non-profit that specializes in live music events. Doors will open at 5pm.
