Join us for an exciting, fun-filled and educational weekend of African Drum and Dance workshops and a concert on Saturday.  The theme this year is “Bolo” which means Unity. Learn the art of West African drum and dance from expert instructors from around the world including Assane Konte and his KanKouran West African Dance Company from Washington D.C.   Join us at the craft table to learn exquisite jewelry and belt making.  Browse and shop at our African store.  The highlight of the weekend is the conference concert on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8:00 PM which will entail beautiful African costumes, the best African drumming in the country and our own Kuungana drummers and dancers.  This is a colorful exciting concert that should not be missed.  Come out and experience the culture of West Africa.
