Grand Blanc Lions Turkeys in the Park

The Grand Blanc Lions Club announces the 2nd Annual Turkeys in the Park at Physicians Park, 218 Reid Road in Grand Blanc on Saturday, October 22nd between the hours of 12pm to 3pm. The Grand Blanc Lions Club will be sponsoring a fun afternoon for children including a bounce house, kids’ games, cider and donuts and pumpkin painting. All money raised allows the Grand Blanc Lions Club to provide goods and services to disabled individuals, young people, civic organizations, and others in the community with needs.

 

The Grand Blanc Lions Club will also be raffling 20 (twenty) frozen turkeys and numerous prizes. Tickets are available for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Proceeds will go to support Leader Dogs for the Blind and local projects.

 

The Grand Blanc Lions Club meets at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Road, Grand Blanc, on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 6pm to 8pm. The Grand Blanc Lions Club is dedicated to cutting across all national, racial and cultural boundaries and provide service to the local community including sight conservation, hearing conservation, youth programs, Diabetes detection and research and work for international cooperation and understanding.

 

The Lions Club’s mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
