Communities First, Inc. presents its Second Annual African American Film Series! Join us for a reception with live music and food begininng at 5:30pm. The film begins at 7pm. This month’s film is “Olympic Pride, American Prejudice” on February 9. A minimum donation of $2 is requested.
In 1936, when 18 African American athletes participated in the Berlin Olympic Games, history forgot all but one – the great Jesse Owens. This acclaimed documentary is the story of the other 17.
This will be the season finalte for our African American Film Series. Come enjoy the time in galleries, eat great food, and film. Don’t forget to invite your friends and family to wonderful event.
