HALO BURGER CELEBRATES THE LAUNCH OF ANDRE DRUMMOND’S DRE BURGER

Family Friendly Community Event Featuring ‘DJ’ Andre Drummond,

Games, Activities, and Free Dre Burgers for First 100!

Halo Country LLC, owner of the Flint-based icon Halo Burger, celebrates the launch of the much-anticipated Dre Burger with a family-friendly event for the community on May 6th from 1 – 3 PM at the Fenton Halo Burger location on Leroy Street.   The celebration is open to the public and will kick-off with free Dre Burgers for the first 100 fans who show up.

In addition to free Dre Burgers for the first 100, there will be games, inflatables, hoop drills and much more fun for the community.   DJ Dre (Andre Drummond) will be on hand, dropping some doubles and spinning tunes – that’s right, DJ Dre will be in the house along with DJ ChaChi (official DJ for the Pistons and the Lions!)  Andre will also lead basketball drills for athletes from Special Olympics of Flint. The drills will open to all kids who attend.   Come hungry, and ready for fun… it will be a lively event filled with burgers, basketball, music and more.

In its ongoing support of Flint and its organizations, Halo will donate $1 for each Dre Burger sold during the month of May of 2017 to the Special Olympics of Flint.   Halo will run additional promotions as well to support Special Olympics.

NBA superstar and All-Star center for the Detroit Pistons, Andre Drummond is Halo’s first spokesperson and ambassador in the organization’s rich 93-year history.   Brought together by the love of the game, burgers and a desire to help the Flint community, the Halo/Drummond partnership is (dare we say), ‘Heavenly.’

What exactly is a DRE BURGER? A Slam Dunk!

Imagine a burger where you don’t have to choose… a perfect combination of flavors, each one hand-selected by Dre himself. The burger is as big as it sounds with not one, but two of Halo’s fresh, never frozen, all-beef patties and several exotic toppings. Add savory bacon strips, two slices of melted American cheese, a sliver of raw onion, and a mix of Halo’s Secret Sauce with BBQ sauce – and put it all on a fresh-baked, sesame seed bun…then it gets REALLY interesting.  Andre tops it off with grilled pineapple, and a crispy onion ring. It’s a veritable taste bud tour de force…. introducing the Dre Burger!

Dre Burger Ingredients include…

Grilled pineapple
Two juicy all-beef fresh never frozen patties
Fresh-baked sesame seed bun
Savory Bacon Strips
Crispy Onion Ring
Raw Onion Ring
2 slices of melted American cheese
Special mix of Halo Sauce & BBQ Sauce
