Grand Blanc City DDA Food Truck Festival

Presented by Grand Blanc City Downtown Development Authority at Downtown Grand Blanc

The First Fridays Food Truck Festival will have another festival day on June 2nd with a Sloan Auto theme and continue throughout the summer.  This event will have classic cars from the Sloan Automobile Club kicking off the start of their promotional season for the Sloan Auto Museum Fair on June 24th and 25th.  This event will include entertainment, children’s activities including yard games, chalking, coloring on miniature cars, coloring sheets and bounce house, food trucks and outdoor seating.

It will take place in the parking lot of Grand Blanc High School, 12500 Holly Road. Vehicles will only be allowed to enter from Holly Road.

The First Fridays Food Truck Festival is sponsored by the Presenting Sponsors:  View Newspapers and Genisys Credit Union. The Community Sponsors include Serra Benefits Group and Blessing Plumbing and Heating Company. The Kids’ Zone sponsors include Grand Blanc Police Association, Mayor Susan Soderstrom, United Healthcare Community Plan, Grand Blanc Farmers Market and Grand Blanc Rotary. The Entertainment Sponsors include Stan Ring, State Farm Insurance, Neuenfeldt Eyecare and Little Joe’s Restaurant. Passport Sponsor included Palace Jewelers.

After the First Fridays Food Truck Festival, a Carry On Festival in the Grand Blanc Downtown area will continue throughout the City at the restaurants after the Food Truck Festival. The restaurants will be hosting special Food Truck Festival deals.

The hope is that these events build a greater sense of community in a fun atmosphere and grow excitement in the downtown area.
