Earth friendly sessions for residents in Flint and Genesee County.
The Green Life Community Forum will be held at Sloan Museum on Saturday, April 21 from 11am – 2pm. The forum is open to all residents of Flint and Genesee County.
Topics include: Why Green Products Make Sense, Upcycling 101: Trash to Treasure, Starting a Garden and Ways to Save on Your Energy Bills. A Make & Take session featuring chemical free laundry soap and an all-purpose cleaner. Kids of all ages will enjoy Love the Earth, based on Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax and includes a short story, craft and snack.
Vendors will be on hand from Michigan Saves, Genesee County Master Gardener Association and Shaklee.
There is no cost to attend, however lunch will be provided to those who register by April 16.
