Presented by Elf Khurafeh Shrine at Circus Park

Shriners’ Run in Clio is held to benefit Elf Khurafeh Shrine and promote their values of brotherhood, family, fun and philanthropy.

Shriners’ Run will have many opportunities for athletes of all levels this year.  Family and friends can choose from a competitive 5k Run or 5k Walk, a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk or even a Virtual 5k.

Originally created for fellowship, the Shrine now includes opportunities to develop community and business leaders, create family unity by providing many family-oriented activities such as picnics, holiday parties and other public facing events and promoting our shared values; all while bringing hope and healing to less fortunate children.

Awards

​5k Run & 5k Walk:
–  Age group results will be posted in the following brackets as the race is in progress.  After results are posted for at least 15 minutes (to allow for possible corrections), award winners may pick up their award.
–  First overall male and female.
–  First three male and female in each age division:  10-under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.
1-Mile Fun Run/Walk:
​-  Non-timed event without divisions/awards.
Virtual 5k:
–  Participation medals will be available for pick-up or mailed for those who pre-pay for participation medal option during registration.

​Timing and Results

Timing and RESULTS will be provided for the 5k Run and 5k Walk by Newton Timing & Race Services.  We will be using Chrono Track Systems, featuring the disposable B-tag that remains attached to your race number bib.  For accurate timing, just wear your race number on the front of your shirt using four safety pins.

​Course

Course is flat and fast on paved roads.  The course will not be closed to vehicle traffic.  Please heed caution while on the route.
​It is a non-certified course, but is accurately measured.  Printable route map available HERE.  May also view route on WalkJogRun.
