The Phoenix After School Program provides a safe, supervised, structured environment and offers professional academic and social development assistance to students grades K-12 and their families by offering the following:
• Academic tutoring
• Homework Assistance
• Enrichment Activities
• Monthly field trips (1st Saturday)
• Individual/Group Social Skills Sessions (2nd & 4th Saturdays)
• Parent Enrichment Sessions (3rd Saturday of each month)
The program is free of charge and consistent student attendance is awarded. If students attend 8 consecutive sessions they will be entered in a drawing for a family pizza dinner!
Where: New Community Baptist Church, 1375 Lavender Ave., Flint, MI 48504
When: June 1, 2018-March 31, 2019 on Fridays 4-7pm & Saturdays 12-4pm
