April 30 has been designated International Jazz Day by UNESCO and the Herbie Hancock Institute  (formerly Theolonius Monk Institute). Concerts will take place around the globe that day to commemorate the occasion and Flint MI is no exception. Flint’s own Jazz on Wheels will host a show at the Soggy Bottom Bar, 613 MLK Blvd from 7-10PM.  International students from Michigan universities will be joining the group for an evening of “World Jazz”.  This will be the 3rd consecutive year that Jazz on Wheels has hosted an event for IJD.  Please join us !!
