The Flint Jewish Federation and the Flint Institute of Arts present the 15th annual festival spotlighting Jewish life and culture from around the globe with five screenings in as many nights. All screenings begin at 7 p.m. in the FIA Theater.
The 15th annual festival will open Sunday, May 19 with the documentary “Shalom Bollywood: The Untold Story of Indian Cinema” (Australia, 2018, 76 minutes). Other selections are the documentary “Above the Drowning Sea” (May 20, Canada, 2018, 88 minutes); the murder mystery “Budapest Noir” (May 21, Hungary, 2017, 95 minutes); the comedy “The Cousin” (May 22, Israel, 2018, 93 minutes); and the drama “The Last Suit” (May 23, Argentina/Spain, 2018, 91 minutes).
