The 62nd Annual CANUSA Games takes place on August 9-11, 2019. These friendly international games purpose is to demonstrate a community approach to international goodwill through the field of amateur athletics between the Cities of Flint, Michigan, USA and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Families from the Host City open their homes to people from the Visiting City with the spirit of goodwill and neighborliness that marks the friendly rivalry between youth and adults of the two cities in the two Countries.
Competition for ages 9-90 in approximately 14 sporting areas provide athletes with a venue to showcase their skills while building friendships that last a lifetime. Event locations vary throughout Flint and Genesee County. Opening Ceremonies will take place on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Kettering University’s Historic Atwood Stadium at 1:00pm and is free to the public.
