Buckham Gallery presents the FIELD WORK Panel Discussion
Join curator Alison Wong and artists Iris Eichenberg, Amy Sacksteder, and Elizabeth Youngblood for a conversation on FIELD WORK, with moderator Sarah Rose Sharp.
September 2019 brought a very special exhibition to Buckham Gallery. FIELD WORK, by guest curator Alison Wong of Wasserman Projects Detroit, is sponsored by the Dorothy Olsen Fund.
FIELD WORK explores elements and concepts inspired by and in response to the natural world around us, expressed through a diverse range of media, including painting, photography, fiber, and mixed media installation. This group exhibition brings together eight female artists, all living and working in Southeast Michigan.
Featured artists include: Morgan Barrie, Susan Goethel Campbell, Lindsey Dezman, Iris Eichenberg, Nancy Mitchnick, Amy Sacksteder, Margo Wolowiec, and Elizabeth Youngblood.
Panel Discussion moderator, Sarah Rose Sharp, is an Arts and Culture writer with Hyperallergic.
