“Journey to Bethlehem” is a free, live-action, interactive walk-through of the story of Jesus’ birth. The church is handicap accessible, strollers welcome, and is appropriate for all ages. Dec 7th & 8th from 3pm to 6pm.
A long time ago…in a land far away…the events of one mysterious night in Bethlehem started the celebration of Christmas. What would Bethlehem have been like at the time of Christ’s birth 2000 years ago? Experience the sight and sounds of Bethlehem at Davison Missionary Church on Dec. 7-8th 2019. Come visit a live historic interpretation of Bethlehem and a living nativity.
Your journey will begin by listening to the sounds of Christmas, then led by a guide, your family or group will go back in time. As travelers to the ancient city, walk through the events leading to the birth of Christ. Encounter Roman guards, wise men, shepherds angels, the marketplace in Bethlehem and the Christ child lying in a manger.
This all takes place at Davison Missionary Church located at 1481 N. Gale Road (the corner of Davison and Gale Roads). Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th- 3-6 PM. Groups will be starting their journey every few minutes. This event is absolutely free. The church is handicap accessible, strollers welcome, and is appropriate for all ages.
