Brothers Grimm Double Feature! Little Red Riding Hood and Jack & the Beanstalk

Brothers Grimm Double Feature! Little Red Riding Hood and Jack & the Beanstalk

Presented by Flint Community Players at Flint Community Players

This December, just in time for the holidays, Flint Community Players is proud to present a double feature of two classic Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales: Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk!

Relive these two classic stories the whole family can enjoy this holiday season! In Little Red Riding Hood, the title Little Red travels through the woods to deliver delicious food to her Grandmother. But Little Red is not alone in the woods, as she comes face to face with the dangerous Big Bad Wolf, who just so happens to be looking for an afternoon snack! In Jack & the Beanstalk, the title character Jack comes across a magical land in the sky when he gains magic beans from a mysterious old man! These beans grow into a massive beanstalk that whisks Jack away to a land in the clouds filled with giants, magical harps and hens, and adventure around every corner!

This double feature performance will be FREE on the Flint Community Players Facebook and YouTube on December 11 and 12, both days at 7:00 PM! The performances will be uniquely performed and told over ZOOM and will incorporate unique technical elements to bring these stories to life in a new format to ensure the health and safety of all involved!

The Brothers Grimm Double Feature! Adaptation by Megan Donahue and directed by Tricia Rogers!
