A dad does hair: A lost parents guide to making our daughter presentable.

A dad does hair: A lost parents guide to making our daughter presentable.

Presented by YOUTH ARTS: UNLOCKED at Online/Virtual Space

Do you cringe at the thought of trying to brush through your daughter’s hair in the morning? Is crying while trying to get ready in the morning common in your household? Not just from you, but your child also? This class will review the basic skills of hairstyling on girls with medium to longer hair. This class will provide step by step examples to create such things as overnight, “rag curls”, basic pony tails, and some braids.  I am not promising by the end of the class you will be an expert, nor do I promise a tear free morning.  However, this class will offer simplistic approaches and engaging activities for you to participate in with your daughters while attempting to make them presentable to leave the home.

This workshop is the first in a series of 6 presented by YOUTH ARTS: UNLOCKED, a non-profit dedicated to bringing the arts to incarcerated and justice-involved youth in Genesee County.
