Kicking off our 2021 season will be a WORLD PREMIER staged reading and workshop production by a Genesee County native and New York resident. “The Vultures” by Isaac Wood. A brand-new Farce!

Levitt Thurgood is dead! Well, almost. He might as well be. The reclusive former swashbuckling film star hasn’t been heard from in years; the rumor mill has churned and churned but statements from the maids in his mansion in Maine indicate he’s one-hundred-and-eighteen and still very much alive … until one of the maids lets slip that he’s actually locked in his bedroom upstairs on life support and could die at any moment. Naturally, like moths to the flame or vultures to a carcass, the news attracts his desperate distant relatives, who descend on the mansion to try and schmooze their way into Levitt’s will before the credits roll, so to speak: his kind and VERY pregnant granddaughter; his equal-parts-ancient-and-insane ex-wife and co-star; two thieves masquerading as his gay nephews; and a long line of others who look very much like the same person. All of this to the chagrin of Levitt’s two maids, who can’t even begin to clean up this particular mess.

THE VULTURES will be available to view exclusively online, streaming live from the FCP stage!
