This year marks the 5th anniversary of MW Gallery’s opening! To celebrate this milestone, MW Gallery presents a star-studded exhibit that showcases some of the Mott-Warsh Collection’s latest acquisitions alongside older, but rarely exhibited works from the collection. Included are some of today’s most celebrated contemporary artists, such as, Bisa Butler, Hugh Hayden, Rozeal, Simone Leigh and Amy Sherald, accompanied by groundbreaking mid-career and established artists Renee Cox, Leonardo Drew, Kerry James Marshall, Howardena Pindell, Maren Hassinger, Jack Whitten and more.
MW BLACK BOX GALLERY: “Bearing” by Bradley McCallum and Jacqueline Tarry. This multi-piece art installation features iconic portraits of teen mothers and their children, accompanied by audio testimonials from the young women about their journey into motherhood.
