With a special appearance by Sam Thompson, former Chief of Security for Elvis! Join us for a retrospective of our historic music heritage.
We’ve arranged for the rare opportunity to bring Sam Thompson to Flint and share his fascinating story. If you’re a music fan, this is a special chance for you to hear up close and personal from someone who was in the center of Rock ‘n Roll and music history.
Along with Sam’s storytelling, we’ll be reviewing some of the history making artists, bands and DJ personalities from Flint and Genesee County and the musical legacy that they influenced and created. Our retrospective covers everything from Rock ‘n Roll to Country & Western, Pop, Hip Hop, Opera, Punk, Gospel, Indie Rock, and more.
Very limited seating–in the Capitol Theatre Blackbox Room. Please RSVP to arrange for tickets. Open to the public. Free Admission.
Doors open at 6:00.
