The Universal Kidney Foundation (UKF) was birthed in response to the need for providing assistance to patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and related illnesses in Flint and Genesee County The economic impact of loss of jobs and insurance benefits made it difficult for some patients to adequately access treatment and related healthcare services. Through the use of innovative, interactive technology, the UKF seeks to educate and provide access to quality health care information to local community residents. The limitless nature and use of technology will allow the UKF to expand its reach to ultimately touch the lives of individuals across this globe.
