    Cause & Affect Gallery
    Gallery
Cause & Affect Gallery is an art gallery featuring fine art from over 50 artists primarily from the state of Michigan.  Drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, and wood are some of the mediums represented at the gallery. The gallery began as a need to find space to accommodate a friend who is differently-abled in order to take a class in silversmithing.  The gallery is accessible to all and our studio space is adaptable for people of differing needs.  Inclusion of all is very important to us. We offer a number of workshops in the studio space at the gallery.  Our artists are the instructors and cover a wide variety of mediums.  There are workshops for all ages.

The Clio Center for the Arts, a non profit organization, was founded in 1989 by Nate Yonker and Karen Mason. These two individuals along with many other area artists and interested individuals refurbished and opened an abandoned school building which was called the Clio Area Center for the Arts which is now called the Clio Schools’ Early Education Building. Even though the name has changed, this building is still home to the Art Society. The Clio Center for the Arts celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2009, and looking back on the past 20 years, we are proud to say that we have provided the area with many opportunities to experience art, the history and culture that art provides to the artists and patrons visiting our fine arts gallery. On December 12, 2010 the Clio Center for the Arts honored Margaret Runyan, a founding member of 20 some years of service and devotion, by dedicating the gallery in her name the “Margaret Runyan Art Gallery.

Cranberries Café opened in 1994 as a deli with soups, salads and sandwiches. Through changes in the years, 2001 brought a new dimension to the café. We now offer lunch, dinner and catering with a fully stocked bar. The building was built in 1917. The sturdy antique cherry bar has known many friends. The wine cooler is also part of history as it was originally a floral icebox found in northern Michigan. The beer cooler was built to accommodate a 75-year-old door. The original tin ceilings as well as the original flooring are all part of the vintage atmosphere. There ends the old stuff. The menu is kept current with the taste trends, health concerns and value minded customers. We now have our own herb garden for the freshest flavors. We use trans fat-free oil for frying. We have many entrée choices of $10.95. We have a variety of musical artists on Thursday evenings, 7-10 p.m. Wine dinners, beer testing, martini nights, and mystery dinners are some of the regular special events. If you are looking for a great place to have an private party, bridal or baby shower, rehearsal dinner or even a surprise birthday party, informal lunch or dinner, visit Cranberries Café in downtown Goodrich, located in south Genesee County, Michigan.
