    Titanic: The Eternal Crossing

    Guest Speaker: David J. Kaplan, Titanic Historian

    Thursday, May 11, 7:00 PM (Doors open at 6:30 PM)

    Ages 12 and up

     

    The Titanic is probably the most famous noun in history. Why does the Titanic disaster continue to be the world’s foremost and famous disaster? How has it continued to be a high interest topic for over a century? This presentation compares the Titanic disaster to a number of other man created maritime, structural, and aviation accidents. It also illustrates the similarities between the fate of the Titanic and the fate of the space shuttle, Challenger.
