The New McCree Theatre is proud to present James Baldwin’s, The Amen Corner. Imagine all of the back stories that take place in a small storefront church. You’d be amazed!!

The New McCree Theatre, 4601 Clio Road, Flint, is presenting James Baldwin’s award-winning play, The Amen Corner, March 3 – 19, 2022 with performances on Thursday and Friday at 7:00p.m. and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Admission is $10.00.

Baldwin, of course, is the author of several critically-acclaimed essays and novels, including I am Not Your Negro, The Fire Next Time, Another Country, Notes of a Native Son, and many more.  The Amen Corner is Baldwin’s very first play.
